Millennium Academy of Irish Dance was founded in 2001 with just fifteen students and has since grown to over 100 students. Millennium Academy maintains small classes with a low student to teacher ratio, which enables us to give each dancer personal attention and encouragement. At Millennium Academy we focus on three disciplines of Irish Dance: solo dancing, team dancing and performance dancing in both soft shoe and heavy shoe. We give the dancers many opportunities and outlets for their dancing. Throughout the year they may compete in a feis, perform at a festival, dance at a nursing home or demonstrate their steps in a recital.
